Global Partnership On Artificial Intelligence ( GPAI)
The United States and other founding members of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence in which, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the European Union, have started a joint meeting together to create a Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI). All the founding members of Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence will support and responsible for human centric development. use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the goodness of human kind in a manner to protect the human rights, fundamental freedoms, and all the countries shared democratic values, as elaborated in the OECD Recommendation on Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence. All the Global Partners of Artificial Intelligence look forward to working with other interested countries and partners on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Goals Of GPAI
Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence is an international and multi stakeholder initiative to guide for responsible development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), in the field of human rights, inclusion, diversity, innovation, and economic growth. to achieve this goal, the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence will look to bridge the gap between theory and practices on Artificial Intelligence by supporting cutting edge research and applied activities on Artificial Intelligence related priorities. In collaboration with Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) and international organizations, will bring together leading experts from Artificial Intelligence industry, the civil society, governments, and academia should also Work for Responsible Artificial Intelligence Data Governance, The Future of Innovation & Commercialization. Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) experts will also investigate, how we can use Artificial Intelligence for better respond to and recover from COVID-19. Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) will be supported by a Secretariat, to be hosted by the OECD in Paris, they decided to established two Centres of Expertise one in Montreal and other in Paris. The relationship with the OECD will bring strong synergies between the Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) scientific and technical work and the international Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy leadership provided by the OECD, strengthening the evidence base for policy making for the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. These both Centres in Montreal and Paris will provide administrative and research support for the practical projects, undertaken or assessed by Working Group experts from various sectors and disciplines across the world. The Centres will also plan the annual Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Multistakeholder Experts Group Plenary, the first will be hosted by Canada in December 2020. for this formal accession process ongoing. The process to establish the Global Partners on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Secretariat at the OECD is currently in its final stages.
